Mass Intentions

A Mass can be offered for someone or something. It might be to give thanks for a significant event, anniversary or person; you could offer it for a specific need for yourself or somebody else; or you might request a Mass in remembrance of a love one who has died.

To request a Mass Intention, please contact the Parish office or complete one of the envelopes within the three Churches.

Standing Orders

The most cost effective way of supporting your parish is by setting up a regular gift via Standing Order.  To set up a standing order by your own telephone or internet banking, you will need the bank details of the Parish you wish to donate to.  You will often find these on your Parish website or by contacting your Parish and asking for a Standing Order form.

Should you prefer, you can also contact the Archdiocese Fundraising and Gift Aid team who can provide you with the details you will need: fundraising@rcaos.org.uk

Please note:  If you do set up a Standing Order on your own accord, please let your parish know, so they can reconcile their bank account and claim Gift Aid on your donations, if eligible.

Gift Aid

Our churches benefit greatly from Gift Aid.  Gift Aid allows charities to reclaim tax on donations made by a UK Taxpayer. This means the Diocese of Nottingham and its parishes can claim back from HMRC 25p for every £1 you donate.

To register for Gift Aid, you can contact the Parish office for a copy of their Gift Aid form for you to sign.  Alternatively, you can download this Gift Aid form here, complete it, and send it to office@holytrinitygci.uk

In memory donation

Giving in-memory of a loved one has a long standing tradition in the Church. Supporting the work of the Parish in memory of a loved one is a wonderful way to remember and celebrate their life.

Funeral Collection

A wonderful way to remember and celebrate the life of a family member or friend, is to hold a funeral collection in lieu of flowers at a loved one’s funeral service.  To arrange a funeral collection, you should speak with the office.  You can also choose to hold a funeral collection online by setting up a Tribute Page.

Tribute Page via MuchLoved

Setting up a Tribute Page is a wonderful way to remember your loved one and honour their life, whilst also collecting donations for your local Church or another charity of your choice.  You can add photos and videos to your page, and personalise it.  It also allows anyone who can’t be with you on the day of the funeral to make a donation or share a message.

You can nominate the Parish to be a beneficiary of your Tribute Page by providing the parish name and address.

Legacy

A gift in your Will to the Church is a wonderful way to support your local Catholic community and parish.
